Family Resource Staff:

There are dozens of terms you may not recognize and a complicated web of services that can be difficult to navigate. We’ll help you get connected to a nonprofit near you that can support you on your journey.
Train and Inform:
We provide professional development to staff at Lesanto’s Healing Hands Learning Center, fostering an inclusive environment.We emphasize the importance of inclusion and its benefits for all children. Our training helps staff learn how to adapt the physical environment to accommodate children with special needs. We promote empathy, understanding, and acceptance among peers.
Advocate:
We use our collective voice to improve access for families and children with disabilities.At our special needs center, we recognize the crucial role that advocacy plays in ensuring every child receives the support, services, and opportunities they deserve.As advocates, we not only provide a nurturing and inclusive environment tailored to each child’s unique needs, but we also work diligently to raise awareness and promote understanding within the broader community.
Helping Your Child Develop:
Lesanto’s Healing Hands Learning Center has developed a set of techniques that, used together or individually, can be highly effective in teaching life skills to children with disabilities. The good news is that these techniques can also be applied to teach just about any skill to almost anyone — regardless of their abilities or challenges.
